About
Manuel Concha Novoa is a Swedish-Chilean writer, director and cinematographer working seamlessly across commercials, feature films and television. Known for emotionally resonant storytelling and striking visuals, he has directed campaigns for global brands, artists and athletes, with work generating more than 100 million online views.
His feature films include Suedi, nominated for the Guldbagge (Swedish Academy Award) for Best Screenplay, and Bert, one of Sweden's most watched theatrical releases of the year and a Guldbagge nominee for the Audience Award. His television credits include Alex, Heder, Backstrom and Starke Man.
Alongside his directing work, Manuel is currently developing international feature film and television projects with acclaimed European screenwriters, including Stefan Thunberg (Hamilton, Jägarna 2) and Leonardo Fasoli (Gomorrah, ZeroZeroZero).
